ABOUT CHI CODE LAB
Welcome to CHI (pronounced "Kai" or as greek letter "x") CODE LAB, a kids coding school. We're excited to offer a fun and engaging way for children to learn the important skill of coding. Our coding school is designed for children age 7 to 18, and our curriculum is tailored to their developmental stage and learning style. We believe that coding is not only a valuable skill for the future but also a creative outlet that allows children to express their ideas and solve problems in innovative ways. Our classes are led by experienced instructors who are passionate about teaching children to code. They use a variety of teaching methods, including interactive games, puzzles, and group projects, to keep children engaged and motivated throughout the learning process. Our courses are designed to be progressive, so children can build on their skills as they advance through the program. At chi code lab, we prioritize creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment where children can explore and experiment with coding at their own pace. We believe that every child has the potential to become a great computer scientist and look forward to helping your child unlock their full potential.
OUR PROGRAMS
CODING FUNDAMENTALS
At CHI CODE LAB, we believe in making programming fundamentals accessible and exciting for kids through a variety of engaging methods. We introduce concepts through fun games, interactive animations, and hands-on projects. By incorporating gamification elements, we transform learning into a playful and immersive experience. Kids explore coding concepts by creating their own games, animations, and interactive projects, allowing them to apply what they learn in a practical and enjoyable way. Through these creative and dynamic activities, we instill a strong foundation in programming fundamentals while nurturing their passion for coding!
Scratch Junior Introduces kids to coding by providing a playful and visual platform where they create interactive stories and games using colorful blocks. Through hands on experience, kids learn the basics of programming like sequencing, events and loops in a fun and engaging way.
A total of 10-12 classes.
Split into two, Beginner Scratch and Advanced Scratch. Scratch introduces kids to the fundamentals of coding, by teaching them sequencing, creating loops for repetitions,use events for interactions and apply conditional statements for decision making. These concepts help young learners develop problem solving skills and unleash their creativity through animated stories in a visual and enjoyable environment.
Introduction to HTML/CSS in Web development is a foundational course that equips students with essential skills for creating and designing websites. Students learn HTML to structure web content and css to style and format it. Topics include, creating webpages, adding text, images, links and applying css for layout and design.
Python is a versatile and powerful programming language known for its simplicity and readability. In this course,kids explore the fundamentals of python programming starting from the basics like data types, variables, control structures. As it progresses kids learn about functions, libraries and object oriented programming enabling them to solve a myriad of real world problems.Pythons versatility makes it ideal for web dev, data analysis, Machine learning and so much more.

AI AND ROBOTICS
We introduce the fascinating world of AI and robotics to kids in CHI CODE LAB through interactive and engaging programs. Our curriculum includes hands-on projects where students learn to design and build their own robots, incorporating AI technologies like machine learning and computer vision. Through age-appropriate activities, students explore the principles behind robotics and gain practical experience in programming robots to perform specific tasks. We encourage creativity and problem-solving, empowering kids to understand the potential of AI and robotics while fostering a passion for innovation.
In introduction to AI, kids embark in an adventure into the world of Artificial intelligence. They learb rge basics of machine learning and discover how AI powers real life applications like face detection, NLP, GPT, Object detection, Hand pose classification etc. Through interactivE projects, they explore how AI technology is shaping our future.

Scratch 3.0 completion is a prerequisite for this course
In this course, young minds delve into the exciting realm of hardware computing using the BBC micro:bit and Arduino. They build and program robots, design interactive gadgets and explore the foundations of electronics and coding. They experience the magic of creating devices like smart weather stations and personalized game controllers, fostering creativity with tech innovation
